Welcome to “Napoli on the table”! I am your trusted Neapolitan. Although I have been away from my homeland for many years, I never forget my roots. If anything defines my life, it is my love for food and for sharing stories, flavors and emotions.

I like to think that I was born hungry, but not just for food, but for experiences and connections that revolve around a good table. There is always a smile on my face when I have a steaming plate in front of me, because for me, cooking is not just food: it is love, tradition and that little piece of happiness that you always carry with you.

Napoli, a paradise of flavors

Every time I think of Naples, the dishes that give life to its incredible gastronomic culture come to mind. From a savory pasta dish to a crunchy sweet, Naples is a true paradise for those who love to eat.

In my house, as in many Neapolitan families, we ate a simple and balanced diet, rich in vegetables, proteins and cereals. But Sunday was different. That day became a real gastronomic feast. My mother spent hours in the kitchen, preparing dishes that could well belong to the best restaurants in town. I clearly remember the aroma that invaded our house and the time we spent as a family, enjoying those delicacies.

Since then, Sunday has become for me the best day of the week. It is the day when I allow myself to relive those traditions, surrounded by loved ones and with food as the protagonist.

I’ve been living in Spain for 7 years now, and although I love my life here, I can’t deny that at first I was very homesick for the flavors of home. I missed things as simple as pinching a piece of freshly baked bread in the morning, or enjoying the vegetables grown in the neighboring fields, given to me by friends at harvest time.

I have always been passionate about good food, and the happiness that a good dish gives me is incomparable. That’s why, with all my love and dedication, I learned to replicate the recipes of my homeland so as not to miss it so much. Now, those recipes have become my way of connecting my Neapolitan past with my present in Spain.

This space is my way of sharing with you a part of the delicious and varied Neapolitan gastronomy. Here you will find:
